$420
For Advanced Certified Divers Only
Discover one of Western Australia’s most spectacular marine environments on our Samson Wrecks Ultimate Dive Tour, exclusively for certified Advanced Open Water Divers. Whether it’s your first time exploring the Dampier Archipelago or you’re returning for more, this tour delivers the perfect blend of adventure, wildlife encounters and immersive diving.
Explore a World-Class Diving Destination
Just off the Pilbara coastline lies the Dampier Archipelago, 42 pristine islands surrounded by warm waters and incredible biodiversity. The region is home to more than 650 fish species, four species of turtle, dolphins, rays and a range of coral reef habitats.
The Archipelago offers thriving ecosystems, vibrant marine life and unique reef structures. It is one of WA’s most diverse underwater environments and a true hidden gem for divers.

Whale Watching Season
From late June to early October, the Archipelago becomes a major migration route for humpback whales as they travel north from Antarctica to calve and rest in the warm northern waters.
While travelling to and from the dive site, our crew keeps watch and if conditions allow, we’ll pause for a respectful whale-viewing experience. Breaches, tail slaps and spy-hops are common during the season, so keep your camera ready.
The Dive Experience
This tour includes two deeper dives up to 25 metres, designed specifically for Advanced Open Water Divers seeking both challenge and discovery. Scheduled to align with neap tides for optimal visibility and reduced currents, this experience takes you across the Samson Wreck sites, where you’ll explore multiple submerged structures – including a sunken trawler and a large barge – now transformed into thriving artificial reefs.
These wrecks provide shelter for an impressive range of marine life. Massive cod and groupers have made the structures their home, hiding in the shadowed hulls. It’s also common to spot resting tawny nurse sharks, often found lying peacefully beneath the bow of the trawler or along the sandy patches bordering the wrecks.
With their mix of marine biodiversity and atmospheric underwater scenery, the Samson Wrecks offer an unforgettable deep-diving experience, ideal for advanced divers looking to immerse themselves in one of the Pilbara’s most iconic underwater sites.
Between dives, relax on board during your surface interval, surrounded by open ocean and distant island views. Please bring a self-catered lunch. We will provide drinking water and a fridge to keep your lunch, snacks and drinks cold.
